This is a wonderful vintage 1950s cocktail dress that comes with a matching jacket. This 1950s cocktail dress has a squared neckline, shoulders straps, a squared open upper back and a defined waistline that is cinched with a matching belt. There is velvet trim under the neckline in the form of a band with three hanging rectangular shapes. The jacket has padded shoulders, a shirt type collar, below the elbow length sleeves with turned cuffs, an accented waist and does up with six covered buttons. The opening, bottom front and cuffs are trimmed in velvet similar to the neckline of the dress. Both pieces are unlined and the dress is made in a below the knee length with a notched vent at the back. This 1950s cocktail dress does up with a fine tooth metal zipper at the left side.
