This exceptional vintage Yves Saint Laurent top was designed by Tom Ford for the YSL Spring Summer 2002 Rive Gauche ready to wear collection. This top can be worn on or off shoulder and is shown off shoulder as worn by the model on the runway.
This unique vintage top is in a brown leopard print fine silk chiffon fabric. What makes it so special is the construction of the sleeves and shoulders. The raw seams are connected with space top stitching, creating openings in the areas between the stitching. The inside out or deconstructed construction was a popular component of early 2000's fashion and Tom Ford did it so well! This ethereal top can make any skirt or pants feel incredibly stylish!
